Just What Is God’s Indescribable Gift?

Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift.

2 Corinthians 9:15

The sweetest season is upon us, where the greatest gift is celebrated.   

The gift of Jesus is magnificent in every way, packed with beauty beyond our understanding. 

This gift is: 

Grace. An expression of the unmerited favor our God has on us that we so desperately need.  Grace breaks chains, mends pain, and rains down the brilliance of glory over our lives.   

Mercy. An expression of compassion instead of an act of punishment. Our debt canceled, and in its place, new mercies given each morning.   

Both are provided through the most wonderful gift, salvation. A present so graciously shared through the incomparable, incomprehensible love of our Savior. Nothing we have done or ever do will earn us this gift. It is simply given for us to humbly receive. If you have never accepted the gift of salvation, it is yours to unwrap today. 

The giver of grace, the giver of mercy is the gift of Jesus Christ.   

Take hold of this season by taking hold of Jesus.
